Fresno homeless, disabled, veterans, mentally ill & poor were given million dollar cash award ($500 Each) & APARTMENTS, not tiny SRO Hotels.
Mayor Alan Autry (aka Deputy Bubba from Heat of The Night Show, starring Carroll O'Connor) held a press conference after the court orders & award was announced. He promised to accept the Homeless People's plans for their needs and that The City Of Fresno would honor Their Will and help obtain funding for their health & housing.
Hopefully, with much better care, compassion and understanding & respect from now on. Relentless Public Empowerment, Oversight & Enforcement are crucial & mission critical.
