Excellent Industrial Documentary shows numerous ongoing shortcomings with BP overall Management Style which clearly shows their preference for putting Cost Savings WAY AHEAD OF COMMON SENSE SAFETY & PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE.
As you watch this video, consider how many aspects of our lives relative to our government and mega corporations and banking industries -- are handled the same way that we see BP handling this video's Preventable Accident in Texas City, and now in the Gulf.
A never ending cycle in which the cold-blooded Elite ALWAYS PUT money ahead of people, safety & the environment -- that plays out in nearly every industry around the world.
Murderous, Negligent Corporations & Banks CREATE HATRED in the hearts of locals in many nations. Their people call them Defenders of Their Homeland, while the Corporate Elite & US Government, Inc. call the people angry at the lack of care which caused preventable death of their friends and family, terrorists.
Imagine that. Union Carbide runs a plant in your neighborhood which causes leaks and injures thousands. They keep paying bribes and nothing changes, it gets worse until it blows up - killing and maiming tens of thousands who get angery... wouldn't you ?
Aren't our Gulf Area People angry because they are going to get sick and die and lose their ways of life, because of Ego, Greed & Lying Thieves with a TRACK RECORD of unsafe practices and risky behavior that causes PREVENTABLE DEATH & MASSIVE SUFFERING.
Consider that in other countries, the government oversight is even more lacking than what we have here. These mega petro-chemical concerns, mining operations and other heavy industrial activities have Maimed, Caused Severe Illness and Premature Death (negligent homicide) to Millions of People in nations around the world.
This is all done mostly in secret (so they can place future trade deals and shorts because they control the events and the timing of press releases before reporting publicly), because just like the current Media Blackout (people with cameras are threatened with arrest in the Gulf now, trying to film reality of the severity of the destruction and toxic cloud hazards) which keeps us all from SEEING exactly how bad these preventable accidents really are.
BP and many others REPEAT the same patterns of cutting preventive issues which would have made us all safer and saved money by reducing future costs of emergency response and crisis management.
It's not unlike the same pattern we have in government (corrupted) budget spending in which the corrupted keep spending more money on emergencies instead of preventing emergencies to begin with.
Instead of what we would do for ourselves or our own families and communities if we had our own control over our own lives and communities.
For example, we'd be fully funding all housing and shelter and medical & mental health needs, now -- the corrupted DO NOT want our people well taken care of and truly healing.
They want Our People to stay in conditions of lack, need and sickness so THEY can provide corporatized & prescription drug solutions which setup expensive, eternal dependencies which kill us like a slow death and drains our public revenues on things that could have been prevented at a tenth of the current costs.
This is a Standard Operating Procedure. Set up systems to become bloated until the blow (but take advantage of trading shorts in secret to maximize profit up till crash hour) and then they are absorbed by larger monster corporations and new programs are rolled out to fix the last mess.
Meanwhile, they're busy creating new disasters in other unregulated areas which will give them more profit and control as they set up new ballons to misled us into putting trust and money into. Then, those too will be bloated & collapsed on cue, and the game continues.
Each round, we lose more real wealth, land and political power while they gain during each round of scams and bailouts.
Look for more videos like these because when disaster strikes YOUR COMMUNITY these corrupt, murderous corporations and their government accomplices will make sure you DO NOT GET THE HELP YOU NEED in your community's time of crisis.
They will come AFTERWARDS, like Blackwater (aka Xe - pronounced Zee) and Halliburton will come to get millions or billions in contracts (at ten times the public servant cost) to clean up the messes that were allowed to go on to their worst case scenarios before help arrives to maximize PROFIT. Controlled, intentionally delayed and inadequate responses -- all the expense of YOUR HEALTH or which causes YOUR PREMATURE DEATH.
